A new laboratory/office building in the Amsterdam Science Park, Matrix VII to open March 21, 2019.

Udo Kock, Alderman, performed today the official opening of the new laboratory/office building, Matrix VII, in the Amsterdam Science Park. The building is 8,000 m2 GFA and is almost entirely leased to 15 companies in the life sciences, sustainable chemistry, and high-tech industry. The largest tenant is the Advanced Research Center for Nanolithography (ARCNL), which rents 3,000 m2 of floor-space and will have access to vibration-damping concrete floors (class VC-D and VC-G).

In his speech, the alderman recalled the success of the Amsterdam Science Park as a location for research companies and the important role that Matrix Innovation Center plays in the development and operation of its multi-tenant buildings. Geert Haksteen, Director of Matrix Innovation Center, announced that a new Matrix building of approximately 11,000 m2 GLW has already entered the development stages and is scheduled for completion in early 2022.
