On behalf of the Stadgenoot Foundation, STONE22 has signed a long-term lease agreement with software company Backbase for space in the building, The Bell, located on Sarphatistraat 370 in Amsterdam.
The Bell is a national monument from 1873, and was completely renovated by architect Steven Holl of New York City. The renovation took into account both the monumental status of the building and the requirements for modern office spaces. The office building has been given an energy label of A.
Backbase is renting approximately 1600 m2 of office space in the attic of The Bell; with the arrival of Backbase, the building is fully leased. Backbase was advised by DRS Makelaars. Advisor to STONE22 in this transaction was P. van den Bosch Bedrijfsmakelaars.
