What’s Next? A building for scale-ups on the TU Delft campus

Where can start-ups go once they have outgrown the incubation phase? The TU Delft and the municipality of Delft have been working for several years on a plan to increase the housing options on the TU Delft campus for technology-driven companies. To take further steps, a strategic partnership was formed at the end of 2018 with the Dutch Science Park Fund (DSPF), established by a.s.r.

On behalf of the a.s.r. Dutch Science Park Fund, STONE22 is developing and realizing a high-quality building for scale-ups on the TU Delft Campus: NEXT Delft. This accelerator building provides housing and facilities for startups that continue to grow. The design offers flexible office and workshop space alongside facilities to promote interaction, collaboration, and the sharing of knowledge. In this manner, NEXT Delft plays an important role in the ecosystem of the TU Delft Campus.

NEXT Delft has high sustainability ambitions: BREEAM Excellent.

The Role of STONE22

STONE22 is the building developer and has sold the building to the a.s.r. Dutch Science Park Fund. A turnkey purchase agreement was signed between the two parties in 2020. Completion of this building is expected in February 2022.
